ARCHON Cable Crossover Attachment
The ARCHON Cable Cross Over Attachment is the ultimate cable station attachment for those looking to bring the commercial gym home. With a carriage system constructed with steel ball bearings that travel up solid steel rods, unlike competitors with plastic bushings and hollow rods that deteriorate and stick over time, our unit is built to last and built for work.
Capable of carrying a whopping 250 LBS smoothly per carriage, you can use Standard 1” plates,2”
Olympic, or Bumper Plates. 19 adjustable positions per side allow you or your clients to perform all your
favorite workouts at home or the ability to train multiple clients at once in your commercial studio.
ARCHON does not guarantee and do not offer support for 3rd party products; however, we have had many customers retrofit the unit for their needs. You must be sure you are ordering the cable crossover with the power cage attachment, but from there it is up to you.
No, the two-inch adapters are included. The unit comes ready to accept 1” or 2” plates.
Great question. You get both, Left and Right Towers.
Awesome question! The answer is “NO!” A very specific engineering design on our unit that differentiates us from competitors is that no attachment interferes with the use of the cage, including plate storage. You just want to make sure that you have the pulley out of the way from where you are racking the bar. So either raise to the top or lower to the bottom.
Great question! Our pulley stations are very close to 1.1:1. So it takes close to 1.1 pounds of force to pull 1 pound on the carriage or 11 pounds of force to pull 10 pounds on the carriage. Now, important to understand, this depends on the tension of the cords as well as if you are using one handle or two. One handle lifting the weight feels lighter as the carriage is moving a shorter distance vertically, but two handles lift the carriage higher, so the weight feels heavier.
