The ARCHON Short Adjustable Dual Pulley Cable Station, with commercial ball bearings, is a versatile space saver with an abundance of potential cable exercises for both home and commercial users with low ceilings. Unlike similar units that use plastic bushings and hollow metal tubes for carriage systems, the ARCHON Adjustable Dual Pulley Station is constructed of 4 linear “Steel” bearings providing a nonresistant gliding motion you will appreciate up solid steel rods. The mounting also sets this unit apart from competitors. Both the top and the bottom of the cable station mount to your wall. “What does this mean to you?” If you do not have a low mount the cable station can pull away from the wall when conducting low pulley movements with moderate weight over time. This pulling can damage the wall around an upper mount. With our ARCHON Cable Station, you have a high and low mounting that secures the unit allowing for full usage top to bottom. If desired there is even floor mounting available. With 17 vertical positions, and commercial construction, you will be able to maximize your cable workouts for a complete health club experience right in your home or personal training studio.
We love customers that want to take care of their equipment! As soon as you unpack and assemble, we recommend spraying Teflon based spray on a cloth and wipe down those metal chrome parts. Also, a squirt on top and below the carriage for the steel bearings. Because we are based in Florida, where humidity is high and some of us have our units in our garage, we repeat this process every 2-3 weeks.
Great question! Our pulley stations are very close to 1.1:1. So it takes close to 1.1 pounds of force to pull 1 pound on the carriage or 11 pounds of force to pull 10 pounds on the carriage. Now, important to understand, this depends on the tension of the cords as well as if you are using one handle or two. One handle lifting the weight feels lighter as the carriage is moving a shorter distance vertically, but two handles lift the carriage higher, so the weight feels heavier.
Great question, if you are using one handle then you can pull it outward up to 6 feet. If you are using both handles at the same time, then you can pull it outward up to 3 feet.
No, you cannot. Cable stations must be mounted to either concreate, wood studs, or similar options.
Not on its own. The top backet must be mounted. If you have a base board that interferes that you do not want to notch out, you can mount the unit to the floor and place an appropriate shimmy (The gap between the top mounting and your wall to fill) between the top bracket and the wall for mounting. Additional hardware may be required. We recommend, if going into a concreate floor or wall purchasing Tapcon Concrete Screws from Lowes or Home Depot.

Use only genuine archon replacement parts. Failure to do so will void warranty and could result in personal injury or even death. There is a risk assumed by individuals who use this type of equipment. To minimize the risk, always follow these simple rules. 1.read and understand all enclosed instructions before using this equipment. 2.inspect equipment before each use. Replace all parts at the first signs of wear or damage. If in doubt about a specific part, do not use the equipment. Contact archon to speak with a product engineer. Failure to do so may result in injury. 3.follow routine maintenance. Refer to product manual or contact archon to speak with a product engineer. 4.consult your physician before starting any exercise program. Warm up properly before engaging in weight resistance training. 5.keep clear of all moving parts to prevent the risk of serious injury. 6.keep children from using equipment without direct adult supervision. Children should be kept at a safe distance when equipment is in use to prevent the injury. 7. To prevent possible tipping. It is recommended that your secure equipment to the floor to prevent possible tipping. Failure to do so you use equipment at your own risk.
Maintenance is not considered a warranty issue. Warranty is not transferable and original purchase receipt must be provided. Warranty claims are reviewed case by case by the ARCHON engineering department. The determination by the engineer is final.
2 Years: Pulley Bearings – Must be taken care of under proper maintenance.
2 Years: Hardware – Bolts, Nuts, Washers.
5 Years: Structural Damage Under Proper Use.
